FRIENDS OF DR.KINI GEOFFREY HOLD THEIR 2ND MEETING

Good Afternoon Comrades.

I bring to you the proceedings of yesterday's meeting held on 29/11/2017 at English/Arabic JHS.

The following comrades were present at the meeting.

The proceedings started with a very powerful prayers from Hon.Aminu after which a previous minute was read to the whole house by Hon.Mobarak Karim

Hon.Aziz commenced his speech by taking the house through the history behind the formation of "Friends of Dr.Geoffrey kini" and encourage members to serve as watchdogs and not to relax but continue with their little effort so as to make the party great again.

He again admonished members to bring out issues bothering them for discussion so as to get them addressed.

He finally concluded his speech by saying that,Friends of Hon.Kini Geoffrey is a positive directed association which would eventually yield a good and productive results for the party.

Mr Julius Ahotor also admonished members not to come to such meetings as single individuals but also make an effort to  bring friends along if only they also believe in the ideologies of "Friends of Dr.Geoffrey kini"
He again took his time to educate members towards the re-organization process
He took his time to outline the respective dates for branch,constituency,regional and national elections.He cautioned members to take such exercise very serious.

Mr Osman came in by reminding members of our current state(opposition) and therefore pleaded with members to be careful.He said though he was not been given money at the time we were in Government but he feels better just because our party was in Government.He likened it to the opportunities available for party members anytime their party is in government than in opposition

Mr Jokoh reminded the house that,branch elections are very crucial and for that matter he wants a little clarification towards the pending exercise.Mr Julius answered him accordingly.

Mr Aminu came again and lamented seriously about the lackadaisical attitude of the party executives towards meetings particularly that of "Friends of Dr.Geoffrey kini"
Mr Osman came and responded to his assertions that,the meeting was for only "Friends of Dr.Geoffrey kini"and those that believes in his ideologies but not for all party executives but a member refuted his answer saying that,the meeting and its members are all subset of the bigger NDC party and for that matter,is incumbent for every NDC member to be in attendance.
Hajia kande also advised members to close their ears and focus oh how to achieve our stated objectives rather than listening to unnecessary sayings outside.

Hajia Nafisah also advised members not to mind those that might not see the goodness of the meeting but emphasis that,every one would be paid in his/her own coin most especially those against the Hon.MP.

A member also acknowledge the positive contributions of the MP and encourage members to continue With their good works.

Mr Mobarak, the secretary to the meeting who also doubled as the moderator for the meeting encourage members to hold the objectives of the meeting strongly and not to allow themselves to be swayed by any comments


The Secretary advocate that,similar meetings would be held in different branches outside Nkwanta township.

We acknowledged the benevolence of Hon.Narayana who refreshed us with yoghurt and  Mr Mobarak Karim who bought water for the meeting held.


The meeting came to an end with a closing prayer from Mr Jokoh at exactly 5.43 pm

A meeting was held in English and Arabic JHS

The convenor of the meeting is Mr Aziz Fuseni.


A welcome address was given by Mr Julius Ahotor who who welcomed every body for making it to that important meeting.

He also acknowledged the party members for their sacrifice they have made from 2016 election till date and urged all those present not to give up but to continue to work for the party.
He challenge the house to come out with pro-active activities that could possibly help the Nkwanta south legislator achieve his stated objectives for his good people


Hon.Sulemana Mumuni also came in by applauding the members for their commitment to the course of the party.
He emphasised that,the coming of members to that meeting shows their readiness n preparedness to sacrifice for the party at all times.

He challenge members to expose the the lies and corrupt activities of the NPP to the general public

He also urged members to use platforms as a source of vital information's to armed themselves adequately to face the NPPs
The Convenor of the meeting,Mr Aziz came in strongly by advising members to make time for such meetings anytime such meetings are called.

He also encourage members to also extend platforms announcement of meetings to those who are not privy to informations on platforms.


A member also reiterate the need to know what the MP had done and what he is doing so as to position themselves in selling his achievements to the town folks.

The Secretary to the Friends of Hon.Kini Geoffrey,Mobarak Karim also advanced his arguments by suggesting that,such meetings are productive and should be held every two weeks which was unanimously agreed by all members.

He again thank Mr Sulemana Mumuni for making it to that important meeting.

The meeting came to a successful end .
