VOLTA TEIN NOT FUNCTIONAL

*IS TEIN IN VOLTA DEAD OR ALIVE?*

TEIN is expected to be the engine of the students body politics on our campuses but sadly enough,TEIN as the youth wing of the NDC on Tertiary institutions are becoming dead goats or a laughing stock.

Opposition demands an effective command of the youth both on campuses and within our constituencies respectively.

NPP whiles in opposition were seen moving round our tertiary institutions to revive TESCON.

I though acknowledged the instrumentality of the youth leaders within the region, but i must say is not enough.

The regional youth organizer must as a matter of urgency bring out policies that would rejuvenate the spirit of TEIN in our tertiary institutions


The regional TEIN coordinator is my good friend and i therefore challenge him to respond to the dormant nature of TEIN in our tertiary institutions.

I plead to ask the following questions??

1.What criteria is used in the appointment of the regional TEIN coordinator???

2.Is there a constitutional provisions for the appointment of a regional TEIN coordinator??

3.What are the benefits of the said coordinator if appointment is made??

4.Must the person be a former TEIN president of any recognised institutions??

5.Is the appointment of the regional TEIN coordinator have any influence in the general election??
6.Is the regional TEIN coordinator have a voting rights both at regional and national congress???

A great disservice occurs when most of our TEIN campuses are deprived of vital information affecting them directly.

I therefore call on the leadership of the youth wing as a matter of importance to roll out policies that would address and awake the TEIN on our tertiary institutions from slumber.

PLACE HIGH PREMIUM ON THE NDC GRASSROOTS

*GRASSROOTS RECOGNITION*

Greetings from the grassroots to all the sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress(NDC).

The branch registration so far has gone on smoothly and successfully across all branches.
I think the recommendations of the Botchwey's report is been implemented.

The branch registration seems to have awaken the sleeping spirit of the NDC members in our branches.

Victory 2020 is asssured if we maintain the momentum and the spirit that accompanied the ongoing branch registration
Let us appraise and commend our branch executives particularly those who volunteered to do the registration from day 1 to date not forgetting the branch Chairmen respectively

The NDC party they say do not recognize it's grassroots most especially when it comes to the sharing of the party's cake.

But the most amusement of all is that,the grassroots and their branches are noted for dirty work because of the love and service to the party.

I pray the grassroots is accorded the needed recognition not only when we loss power

BE WARNED,NATIONAL EXECUTIVES

*JOKE WITH THE BRANCH REGISTRATION AND YOU SHALL BE IN OPPOSITION FOREVER*

Printing and distribution of party membership cards should not  an avenue for some party national executives to showcase their authority to the grassroots

Limited printing and distribution of party cards might  jeopardized the fortunes of the NDC towards the 2020 election

Party members are now struggling to get membership cards across constituency branches due to the limited number of membership cards printed.
NDC in opposition must be a responsible party as demonstrated by the minority in parliament.

Notwithstanding the above critique and
a grassroots NDC member, am not only determined to expose the weaknesses of our ongoing registration but to also commend and appraise the characters
involve in our ongoing branch registration.

The branch registration so far has been the most pragmatic and productive step towards the re-organization process.

The defeat of NDC was attributed to the new system which took away power from the branch executives thereby making them inferior in the eyes of a card bearing NDC member and its delegates.

The Kwesi Botchey's report is indeed doing the magic as it has recommended to the Functional Executive Council(FEC) to resort to the old ways of doing things.

The NDC Biometric registration system was a complete evil that contributed immensely to our defeat and thankfully enough,that system has now been thrown to the dogs.

The manual branch NDC registration system is expected to give a clean sheet of the true NDC members which would eventually be metamorphosis into the NDC register to be kept as a true records of membership

The registration so far has seen a colourful atmosphere as the various branch chairmen demonstrated their given back authority of controlling their respective branches.

The enthusiasm that characterized the registration is marvellous and must be recommended.

Members of the NDC embraced the exercise with all their might which might reflect in our subsequent general election though the grassroots felt disconnected and neglected by the party,they are extremely happy to work for the victory come 2020.

The impending challenge might be that,most of the NDC members might not be registered due to limited number of the registration materials especially membership cards.

The leadership of the party as a matter of urgency must quickly provide unlimited number of membership cards for the continuation of the registration or they face the anger of the grassroots.

In conclusion,the spirit of the registration might rekindle  the coming victory of the NDC in 2020 and i therefore plead with all the NDC members across every single branch to get involve in the registration exercise.

MINORITY IN PARLIAMENT ARE LIVING UPTO THE EXPECTATION

It is said that the NPP campaigned in poetry and governed in prose.This can be seen clearly as most of the majority MPs have outlived their usefulness.
NDC in opposition has always been

credible and responsible.The revelations are clear for all to see
Minority in parliament deserves the commendation to continue to do more
Assessment of the minority in parliament might not be a tool for me to assign a numerical value to each of the minority member in parliament

The building of credible opposition emanated from a credible minority in parliament.
The minority NDC is made up of 106 legislators representing specific constituencies.I may not be able to evaluate and assign a specific numerical values to the performance of the minority in parliament,but their performance so far have been credible and excellent

The performance of the minority in parliament is so far better than the 110 ministers under the NPP government.

The minority is doing a fantastic job which is a determinant factor that puts the opposition NDC in a very good position for a quick come back in 2020

The minority in parliament has from day one exposed the most corrupt loopholes under the NPP government
The recent cash for seat revelations is amongst the episode of the corrupt loopholes exposed by the minority in parliament

The continuous efforts of the minority in parliament must be double so as to speed up the rate of our chance in coming back to power in 2020.
